Urine Collection Bag

Bags are made from medical-standard PVC, completely free of latex and sterilized, to ensure patients do not develop infections such as urinary tract infection (UTI).
The collection bags are large, and are manufactured to contain large volumes of urine. These bags are normally used at night where large amounts of urine is produced throughout the night period, and are useful for incontinent patients who lack sleep due to constantly needing to use the bathroom. The Drainage bag provides these patients with a comfortable, restful sleep. These bags are also suited to patients who are confined to their beds due to injury, trauma or coma.

There are 3 models offered in the urinary collection bag in view of price which ranges as economy, regular and premium. Economy bags are the most cheapest however is not available in the larger volume sizes like the Regular or Models. However, economy type urine collection bags are also fitted with all the necessary accessories such as an adaptor with cap and NR valve. The Premium models are more expensive, as these are available in larger sizes. The premium models are also fitted with a double hook and rope, to ensure hanging bags are secured.

Urinary bags are offered in transparent or white PVC. and available as sterile and non-sterile both.

The Folley’s catheter attached to the urinary bag have the tendency to become clogged, and if this occurs, it must be flushed out or discarded. A clogged catheter inhibits drainage, which results in leakage. If a catheter becomes clogged, the urinary bag should also be flushed out and cleaned, or simply replaced.
